WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Robins Financial Credit Union has provided new grants to local teachers through its 2nd Annual GRANTED Program.
The program was created to alleviate some of the financial burden on local educators and provide them with the tools they need to help educate and engage their students. Those who teach K-12 at schools located within one of Robins Financial’s 45 counties of membership were eligible to apply to receive classroom supplies or monetary donations to purchase items from their classroom wish lists.
This year, Robins Financial granted the wishes of 20 local teachers with educational tools and donations totaling over $37,000.
“We understand that a bright future starts in the classroom,” said Marketing Manager Christol Clymer. “We believe in the power of education and the incredible dedication of local teachers. Our commitment to the community goes beyond just providing financial services; it’s about making a meaningful impact and this program is just one of the many ways we aim to make a difference. Together, we can help provide the tools teachers need to inspire, educate and empower our students to succeed.”
Robins Financial said interest in this program has grown substantially in the two short years since it was created, and it plans continue this growth and help even more teachers.
