Texans Credit Union Ranked No. 1 in Texas by Forbes

RICHARDSON, Texas—Texans Credit Union has been named the top-ranked credit union in Texas on the 2026 Forbes America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions list, earning the No. 1 position based on consumer evaluations of trust, service and overall member satisfaction.

The annual ranking, developed by Forbes in partnership with Statista, is based on a nationwide survey of approximately 26,000 consumers who rated their financial institutions on factors including trust, member service, financial advice, digital offerings and overall experience.

“Texas has some outstanding credit unions, and being recognized among the best is something we don't take for granted,” said David Frazier, president and CEO of Texans Credit Union. “This recognition comes from member feedback, and also reflects the people behind those experiences. Our employees have built a culture centered on service, trust and relationships.”

The recognition adds to a growing list of honors for the North Texas-based credit union. Texans Credit Union was also named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions for 2026 and was recognized by The Dallas Morning News as one of its Top 100 Places to Work for a third consecutive year, ranking fourth among midsize employers. The credit union said the awards reflect ongoing investments in member financial wellness, digital banking enhancements and employee engagement initiatives.
