MANSFIELD, Texas – For the fourth consecutive year, Texas Trust Credit Union a lead sponsor in the local Toys for Tots campaign. The credit union presented a check for $5,000 to the Toys for Tots Foundation, and well more than 600 of toys, during the toy drive.
The executive team of Texas Trust, along with nearly 20 employees, managed a team of live reindeer for Santa during the toy drive, held at the Mansfield Independent School District's Performing Arts Center. They also helped children prepare "magic reindeer food" for Santa to give the reindeer before they took flight to their next stop.
Hundreds of people dropped off toys at the event, which was broadcast live on the local Fox affiliate.
"This is one of our favorite events of the year," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. "It is a privilege to contribute to Toys for Tots and help the servicemen and women in their mission to bring joy to so many children on Christmas morning."
