SCARBOROUGH, Maine--Town & Country FCU has expanded its public relations and communications team.
The credit union has hired Jon Paradise as the new Vice President of Public Relations and Communications and named Linda Halleran as Community Outreach Manager. David Libby, President and CEO of the credit union, explained, “Our commitment to telling our story in new and different ways and engaging with the community is continuously evolving. These changes will enable us to expand those efforts and make an even greater impact in communicating our value, initiatives, and service to our members, our community and many other constituencies.”Paradise joins Town & Country’s management team from the Maine Credit Union League where he spent 18 years leading the organizations communications, public relations and government affairs programs. Most recently, he served as the organization’s Vice President of Public Affairs and Engagement. He is active in the community and serves on several boards including Prosperity ME, an organization dedicated to supporting the refugee and immigrant community, the Maine Children’s Cancer Program, Maine Jump$tart Coalition, the United Way Financial Stability Council, and the University of Southern Maine Athletic Advisory Council. Halleran has assumed the role of Community Outreach Manager for the credit union. She joined Town & Country in 2008 and has held several positions including Marketing Manager, and most recently, Public Relations and Communications Manager. In her new role, she will be responsible for strengthening and building community engagement and partnerships with non-profits, educational institutions, government entities and other organizations to forward the credit union’s mission, the CU said.
