Truliant FCU Opens Branch in Charlotte's South End Neighborhood

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Truliant Federal Credit Union held a grand opening ceremony for its new Member Financial Center branch in Charlotte’s fast growing South End neighborhood.

Known for a mix of industrial charm, vibrant art, retail and social offerings, Truliant said it chose Charlotte’s South End neighborhood to offer a more convenient branch banking option for more than 4,000 Truliant members who live in the area.

The branch is located at 2400 South Boulevard. It occupies 2,400 square feet on the ground level of a new three-story office building in South End.

“We are extremely pleased to be an integral part of the South End revitalization as the community evolves into an even better place to live, work and play” said Marc Schaefer, Truliant’s President and CEO. “As a community-oriented organization dedicated to improving our member-owners’ lives, we’re delighted to have a convenient and attractive location to provide our special, consumer-focused brand of engagement with our existing and our new members. We look forward to the many productive conversations highlighting how we can help our members build their foundations and thrive financially.”

The branch is being managed by Abby Mathiason. Its design reflects Truliant’s Life Improved brand with increased amenities, an open layout, Wi-Fi access and teller pods that remove barriers to improve member interactions with the branch staff. It includes a walk-up Smart ATM that distributes multi- denominational amounts and accepts deposits without envelopes.
