Two Midwest CU Finalize Merger

MOLINE, Ill.– Two Midwest credit unions have announced a merger that crossed state lines has been completed. In 2017, the $653-million Vibrant Credit  Union absorbed via merger the $26-million InegrUS CU in Dubuque, Iowa. Now the former IntegUS office has opened its doors as a Vibrant Member Experience Center.

"Vibrant is excited to share our culture and state of the art technology with this community, ” said Matt McCombs, President and CEO of Vibrant CU, in a statement. “This is an exciting time and we believe we can really focus and improve financial opportunities and innovations to enhance the overall member experience.”

“Emphasizing culture and experience for both members and employees, Vibrant has been recognized as a true partner to its communities and membership in proving there is a better way to bank,” Vibrant said in a statement. “The CU has been identified as a Certified Great Workplace, one of the top five credit unions to work for in the United States and the top place for Young Professionals to work in the Quad Cities.  Former IntegrUS staff have now joined this award winning team.”
