LEXINGTON, Ky.–The University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union (UKFCU)presented the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross with a donationtotaling $141,000.00 to aid in the Tornado Relief Fund for Western Kentucky.
On Dec. 10th, 2021, Western Kentucky experienced devastating EF4 tornadoes.Overnight, UK Federal Credit Union said it began the initiative to partner with theBluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross to help raise money that will providemuch-needed relief to all those affected by the devastation.
UKFCU pledged to make an initial donation of $25,000 while matching communityand member donations dollar-for-dollar up to $45,000 with a goal of donating$70,000.
In total, UKFCU was able to raise $141,000.00 to help support the Tornado Relief Fund.

These funds will be much needed as our Western Kentucky community begins to rebuild.”
