PHOENIX—Vantage West Credit Union has officially opened its relocated Tatum & Shea branch, replacing its former 32nd & Shea location as part of the credit union’s continued expansion and investment in the Paradise Valley market.
The grand opening celebration was scheduled to include a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, along with participation from local officials, Local First Arizona and Heroes and Angels LLC. The new branch is located along the Shea Corridor and was designed to improve accessibility while expanding service to individuals, families and businesses in the area.
“This relocation is about more than a new building—it’s about showing up for our community in a meaningful way,” Jimena Valdés-Walls, senior vice president of member experience at Vantage West, said in a statement. “We’re excited to continue serving the longtime members who know us well, while welcoming new members and neighbors into a space that reflects who we are and how we support people at every stage of their financial journey.”
Founded in 1955, Vantage West Credit Union said it serves more than 200,000 members and has more than $3 billion in assets, making it Southern Arizona’s largest credit union. The credit union said the new branch is intended to support broader financial wellness initiatives while reinforcing its focus on community engagement and local service.
