OXNARD, Calif. —Ventura County Credit Union has opened its second Oxnard branch location.
VCCU’s President and CEO, Joe Schroeder, and Board Chair Sue Tatangelo dedicated the branch to VCCU’s former board chairman, Roxy Ostrem and her mother, the late Patti Shobe, who combined served on the board for more than 50 years.
The Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, president and CEO, Nancy Lindholm made the grand opening official with a plaque presentation and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The decision to open the second branch was made to fulfill a growing member base and continue the credit union’s mission to deliver high-quality services in order to improve the financial well-being of its members and the community, VCCU said.
“Many of our members reside in the city of Oxnard,” said Schroeder. “This new branch will allow us to better serve even further to Oxnard residents, east county and beyond by providing another convenient location with close-to-home financial services.”
