VENTURA, Calif.— Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) said it will open its second branch in Oxnard, Calif. in the fall of 2016. Plans are drawn for an approximately 3,300-square-foot branch, which is to be located at The Collection at RiverPark shopping center.
VCCU’s said it opened the second location to fulfill the credit union’s growing member base in the Oxnard region. VCCU’s first Oxnard branch opened in 2002 and is located at 2160 N. Rose Ave. –– 2.5 miles from VCCU’s new RiverPark site.
“The city of Oxnard is home to many of our members,” said Joe Schroeder, president and CEO of VCCU. “We’re focusing our expansion efforts on this region in order to increase our accessibility and provide close-to-home financial services. The Collection at RiverPark is highly walkable and serves as a central shopping hub. It’s an ideal location for our newest branch, which will offer our full range of financial services, along with convenient ATM access.”
