MADISON, Wis.— Paul Treinen has been named as the new Chief Operating Officer at the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU). As the Chief Operating Officer, Treinen will be responsible for day-to-day tactical and operational management of WOCCU.
Prior to assuming his current role, Treinen had more than 30 years working with the cooperative financial sector where his focus was on development and on-going business management in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Treinen is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Business Administration degree in Accounting.
