Westerly Community CU Cuts Ribbon on Branch

WAKEFIELD, R.I.–Westerly Community Credit Union held an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony for its new Coventry Branch Office located at 4979 Tower Hill Rd/ in Wakefield, R.I.

The new branch features the latest technology including an ITM (Interactive Teller Machine), technology zone, and coffee station plus a kid’s play area. 

“We are very excited about our 5th branch in Coventry,” stated Meg Sisco, chief marketing officer and SVP of retail experience. “It has the modern technology of a tech center and ITM (Individual Teller Machine- an ATM but much more), as well as warm features such as the kid’s area with a painted mural of Johnson’s Pond.  We wanted to make our branch a place members want to visit and meet with friendly staff who will find solutions to all their financial needs.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by honored guests that included Lauren E.I. Slocum, president & CEO of the Central Chamber of Commerce; Stephen Lombardi, executive director of the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce; Donna Jennings, office manager of the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce; Pete Stefanski, WCCI chairperson, and Steven Scales, WCCU vice chair. 

“This new location provides a convenient location for our current and potential members in the area and is also a great location to support future expansion and staff recruitment,” said President/CEO Steve White. “We are looking forward to getting involved and meeting people in the local community.”
