WESTERLY, R.I.–The Westerly Hospital Foundation has received a $200,000 donation from Westerly Community Credit Union to support the hospital’s 100th anniversary Centennial Campaign, which will allow the hospital to provide additional services and improve the patient experience.
The hospital will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025.
The donation is part of Westerly Community Credit Union’s #WCCUCares initiative to support local community organizations that directly help people in the communities they serve. The credit union said it has been among the hospital’s most loyal strategic philanthropic partners for more than 30 years.
“We care about our local community and strive to help make a positive impact by actively being involved in the communities we serve,” said President/CEO Stephen White. “We are very excited for the opportunity to support the Westerly Hospital Foundation’s campaign to provide the latest technology and improve the patient experience.”
