MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.–Kinecta Credit Union teamed with the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club on to host “VetFest Beer-B-Que” at Kinecta’s headquarters in honor of Veteran’s Day.
The event welcomed 600+ attendees and raised more than $35,000. All proceeds from the event will support Team Rubicon, United Services Organizations, and Operation Mend, which are nonprofits benefitting veterans.
In addition, Gene Simmons, lead singer for the rock band KISS, was in attendance showing his appreciation for veterans. The event included live music, barbeque, and craft beer from Rock & Brews, which Simmons is a co-founder.
