EL PASO, Texas–evolve FCU hosted its annual Kids Day at the Zoo event, where local children’s organizations from the community were invited to spend the day at the El Paso Zoo. Organizations included were Make-A-Wish North Texas, Child Crisis Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Paso, Center Against Sexual & Family Violence, Children’s Miracle Network, Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home and Candlelighters. The event featured free food for everyone, face painting for the kids and all-day access to the zoo full of animal shows and fun.
“Throughout the year evolve helps local children’s organizations through quarterly events. This includes fundraisers, donation events, fun events at such as the El Paso Zoo, movie theater showings or sporting events. evolve FCU’s upcoming event will take place in December,” evolve FCU said.
For the 3rd year in a row, it will host, ‘A Shoe Story,’ in partnership with Academy Sports & Outdoors West El Paso. The credit union said it will donate hundreds of shoes to children from these organizations.
