Business, Performance Metrics Up At D+H

D+H

LAKE MARY, Fla.—After acquiring Harland Financial Solutions more than a year ago, D+H reports that the company’s U.S. business is prospering.

In addition to Harland, D+H also rebranded Mortgagebot and Compushare under its brand.

“The three companies were brought under a common leadership, organization and operating structure,” said Scott Hansen, SVP of marketing at D+H. “That combination has been extremely successful. We’ve had a fantastic year, one of our best all-time in terms of organic revenue growth.”

Hansen said virtually all metrics are up, including the company’s Net Promoter Score with clients and internally with employee engagement. “We hired more than 240 people in 2014,” said Hansen.

D+H U.S. Awareness Growing

Hansen noted that Harland Financial Solutions did business in the U.S. for 100 years, and that D+H has been prominent in Canada for more than

135. “We are working hard to spread awareness of D+H in the U.S. and we are seeing good results early on.”

On the mortgage front, Hansen said D+H has prospered from the combination of Mortgagebot and Harland mortgage technologies falling under one roof.

“Credit unions will continue to hear a lot about our Mortgagebot point of sale solution,” explained Hansen. “There are more than 1,300 institutions in the U.S. using Mortgagebot—an originator of the whole apply-for-your-mortgage-at-home technology.”

Mortgagebot’s POS solution recently added CUNA Mutual Group’s mortgage payment protection, noted Hansen. “Now, as a member applies for a mortgage, in the application process they can choose to select CUNA Mutual’s payment protection.”

End-To-End Mortgage Capability

Mortgagebot is now tightly integrated into D+H’s SaaS-based loan origination system.

“We now have this elegant, end-to-end mortgage lending capability that is appealing to credit unions that want to come to a single stop and have everything tightly integrated,” Hansen said.

Credit union interest is picking up, as well, with D+H’s small business lending technology.

“More credit unions are focusing on small business lending, which, as we know, is getting even trickier around commercial and consumer business loan compliance and and documentation,” noted Hansen.

Hansen added that interest in D+H’s core system offerings—UltraData Enterprise and PhoenixEFE, is growing in the U.S.
