COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Ent Credit Union successfully concluded its annual holiday food drive. Employee and member donations totaled 3,117 pounds of food and $2,812 to benefit local families in need through Care and Share Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies.

In addition to collection boxes in Ent’s corporate offices and service centers, employees donated 44 turkeys during the annual Care and Share “Take a Turkey to Work Day” in November.

 “As an active community partner, Ent is proud to support the food banks that serve our member communities. Care and Share Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies provide an invaluable service to the community and we are pleased at how our members and employees came together this holiday season to donate and support them,” said Barbara Winter, Ent’s executive vice president of organizational resources.

LIVONIA, Mich.– More than 200 people participated in a free Rock n’ Roller Skate party hosted by Zeal Credit Union during the recent holidays at the Bonaventure Skate Center in Farmington Hills.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.–Genisys Credit Union was a proud sponsor of the Waterford Kettering High School Student Groups for donating almost 3,000 food items to Goodfellows to benefit local area families. 

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Central Macomb Community Credit Union said it has secured a Community Reinvestment Grant from the Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) and the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates (MCUL) to show how credit unions can help the underserved. 

MIDDLETOWN Calif. – Hundreds of residents of Middletown and surrounding communities were able to enjoy the annual Christmas in Middletown holiday celebration this year, even in the wake of the devastating fires that decimated many areas of Lake County earlier this fall, thanks to the Lake County Fire Victims Relief Fund that was created by Redwood Credit Union Community Fund, Inc. and the Press Democrat, in conjunction with Sen. Mike McGuire.
