The TFCU Artisanal Farmers Market is held every Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the credit union’s headquarters located at 102 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, until October 30.
SANTA ROSE, Calif.—Redwood CU has completed its 2014 United Way workplace giving campaign, with total contributions of $98,175, exceeding this year’s campaign goal of $98,000. The credit union raised $96,000 for United Way last year. RCU offered several unique incentives to encourage employees to contribute: prize raffles, casual days, smoothie parties and more. In addition to supporting with monetary contributions, RCU employees recently volunteered in United Way’s Day of Caring. Volunteers this year focused on two projects in Santa Rosa, helping to refurbish a bicycle shed for the North Bay Children’s Center and packing meals for the Council on Aging.

LIVONIA, Mich.- Zeal Credit Union participated in a variety of activities and fundraisers during International Credit Union Week, including on International CU Day itself, inviting members to participate in “Shop for Miracles.” The one-day Credit Unions for Kids campaign helped raise funds for Beaumont Children’s Hospital, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, every time members used their Zeal Credit Union-issued credit or debit card. Othe activities sponsored included an online silent auction to benefit charities, Zombie Mental Math Adventure for kids at a local library, special giveaways, a free shred day, and food collections.
AUBURN HILLS, Mich.--Genisys Credit Union is backing the “Don’t Be a Monster” campaign, an effort to combat bullying. GCU is working to spread that message to local students by partnering with Erebus Haunted Attraction and Olympia Entertainment to bring the national program to local middle schools in southeast Michigan, seeking to educate youth about bullying, diversity and inclusiveness while empowering them to stand up for their peers and make positive choices for themselves.
